These tiles are reproductions of original Hispano-Arabic tiles from the 15th and 16th centuries. Handcrafted in Portugal, using traditional techniques, respecting the historic designs and colours that characterised the style.
Hispano-Arabic is an aesthetic movement brought to the Iberian Peninsula at the end of the 16th century. It features patterned tiles with motifs intertwined in geometric radial schemes. Technically, these are tiles in biscuit, with reliefs that delimit the drawings, and then its interior is filled with enamels, colouring it.
