DESCRIPTION
MDFACADE is a special range of expanded insulation cork boards with high technical performance for exterior walls cladding, interior walls and ceilings coverings. A perfect solution that combines efficient insulation with a striking natural, eco-friendly look.
 
Expanded Cork is one of the most environmental-friendly materials for insulation. It is made of 100% cork and is very effective in thermal, acoustic, and anti-vibration insulation. Perfect for use in exterior, interior and cavity walls, slabs, floors, roofs, and ceilings. A lightweight, multi-functional, green building material.
The production of these Expanded Cork Insulation boards uses the cork granule by-product of the stopper industry. These cork granules are steam-heated which causes the cork to expand activating suberin, a natural binder that is in the cork. No other binders or chemicals are added. These cork boards are naturally dark (nearly black) in colour, and they do initially release a small "burnt cork" smell which will dissipate over time.
 
No cork goes to waste during the manufacturing process; any waste gets fed back into the production cycle. The product is 100% natural, non-toxic, fire-retardant, fungi-resistant, and durable. It does not lose its distinctive features, even after being utilised for many years. Cork is natural, renewable, and recyclable, it is biodegradable and eco-friendly.

The minimum amount for any orders (except the samples) is a pack. The number of boards per pack differs depending on the thickness of board.
