This line of environmentally-friendly flooring offers a perfect blend of style and durability, with water-resistance and easy installation and maintenance. Cork is recognised for its exceptional acoustic and thermal properties, bringing warmth, quietness, and comfort to any space. These are pre-sealed tiles simplify upkeep and installation is straightforward.

Designed for residential and public areas with varying levels of traffic. Composed entirely of cork, a 100% natural and renewable material sourced from sustainable locations. Ideal for high-use spaces such as kitchens and bathrooms.

The level of thermal insulation provided renders them suitable for use with underfloor heating.

It is recommended that cork tiles be acclimated in the room where they will be installed, ideally 48 hours before gluing them down. Tiles should only be unpacked just before starting the installation. During laying, the temperature should be maintained as stable as possible.

These are glue-down cork tiles. The recommended adhesive for installing cork tiles is contact adhesive for cork floors.

Uses & Suitability

Who uses natural cork glue-down floors most?
Homeowners laying a permanent, warm floor in kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, homes with underfloor heating, and shops, offices and other public spaces with heavy foot traffic.

What do natural cork glue-down floors work best for?
Permanent installation on a flat, smooth, dry subfloor, glued with contact adhesive. At 4 mm thick and rated for heavy commercial use, they suit busy areas and work over hot-water or electric underfloor heating up to a 28°C surface temperature.

What are natural cork glue-down floors not suited for?

  • Rented homes or temporary floors: the tiles are glued down permanently. For a floor that can be lifted, see our cork floating floors.
  • Uneven subfloors: 4 mm tiles follow the surface below, so dips and bumps need levelling first.
  • Wet rooms, shower floors or areas with standing water. This product is water-resistant rather than waterproof.
  • Insulating a cold floor: the thermal resistance is 0.05 m²K/W, so the floor feels warm underfoot but is not insulation.
  • Spaces that need a higher fire rating than Class Dfl-s1.
