Who uses natural cork glue-down wall tiles most?
Homeowners creating a permanent feature wall in a living room, bedroom, hallway or home office. Interior designers specifying a natural, textured wall finish. Small shops, cafés and offices. And crafters, who can buy single tiles for smaller projects.
What do natural cork glue-down wall tiles work best for?
Accent and feature walls on dry interior surfaces. They also work well in rooms with hard surfaces and a lot of echo: the 3 mm cork softens reflected sound and adds warmth to the touch.
What are natural cork glue-down wall tiles not suited for?
- Rented homes: they're glued in place and aren't designed to be removed. Our self-adhesive cork wall tiles are an easier option.
- Blocking sound between rooms: 3 mm cork reduces echo but isn't sound insulation. For that, see our cork insulation boards.
- Wet areas such as showers or splashbacks
- Spaces requiring a higher fire rating than Class E: the tiles are rated Class E under EN 13501-1, so check your building's requirements first.
